Sounds like a GT FSI, they do not have a turbo, and are approx 150 bhp from memory. I would personally buy the 2.0 GT TDI over the FSI, but they are generally a bit more money, but worth it in my opinion. (I paid £6600 for a very clean 2005 2.0 GT TDI, about 4 weeks ago but it had done 68k). The car's standard spec should be 16 inch Imola wheels, body coloured bumpers door mouldings, sports seats, leather 3 spoke steering wheel, auto wiper/lights (I think) as well as the standard golf spec

I agree with what has been said above, if they are smart enough they will get round it, might be better off with a blackjax system, if the car does get tracked by police and its moving, the chances are it will get chased and possibly smashed up! GAP insurance or return to invoice insurance, might also be worth considering. Discrete CCTV systems can be picked up quite cheaply too. Chris

Seconded on the oil use, a guy who used to work for my dad had one, he loved the car, but not the amount of oil it was using, best just to check it regularly to be safe. It does look good, I actually like the red and bodykit, it makes a change from the black, blue and grey ones that you always seem to see! Chris
