Just found my old powerball in a drawer, anyone else here got one?

My all time high score is 12458, I used to be able to get 12k easy, but now I'm around 11k.

    What's your scores?

Its more about strengthaning I think.

I got one as I used to get pretty sore wrists from mountian biking, and after using this for a while, I've never had a dodgy wrist since.

I only get a really good high score if I wash it and dry it properly, and then give my hands a good wash. If I don't, it feels like its going to take off!

    NSD 250Hz.

The metal ones are different and the ones that light up are hard to get above 10k as there is so much resistance to power the lights No

i have owned about 8 over the years, now they are all worn out!

highest i got was 14104 and i was on the powerball leaderboard(just) but was been nocked off the bottom now as the min score is something like 145000!!

that was back in 2006, i used a regular orange ball to go for record speeds, and a the neon and metal ones for practice. they will never go as fast as the the orange ones as they have more drivetrain losses lol. also fot training i used to use captains of crush grippers and can shut a #2.5  about 5 times if anybody knows what they are

they only replace them if they have not been dropped, that seems to be the problem with all mine sooner or later they get dropped and it makes a mark in the plastic case, then onece the metal axis has smoothed out the mark it has kless grip overall. they sent me a few poly rings once as i managed to wear one out without dropping it, but the majority of mine all have knackered platic spheres

and i've tried an ironball they are not as good, IMO they spin too fast without exerting much gyroscopic force, you need to get it to about 13000 just to feel a burn and thats hardly the sort of speed you can maintain

Got my powerball through yesterday, it's great fun.

The top score i've managed to get so far is just over 10k, but i'll give it another shot when I get in from work.

Had a quick check and I think Argos have them at about £25 (Not sure whether it's free delivery or not) and Play.com have them for £15 (Free delivery), guess where I got mine from Smile
