Fancying Dunlop DZ02Gs, apparently wear a lot better than R888s so could realistically drive to the trackday/ring on them, save carrying a set of wheels. Hankook Z211s are an option too.

Shame Yoko has alienated you know who from all his mates with the lies, otherwise the team bus would have been ideal for transporting spares next month, I'd have bunged him his fuel money. Really miss that chap.

Anyhoo, I believe you've landed some track slaggers too??

I'm guessing they're not going to be cheap chris but as you've said should do well on track if a tad damp.

    Good spot.

They seem to be pitched at the Parada Spec2, more for fast road than track. They'd be perfect on a lightweight slag, but I still think I'd suffer block movement with something as lardy as mine.

Can't find any worthwhile reviews to directly compare, but will certainly keep an eye on them.

Here's one that says they're great, little vague on turn in and the blocks still move, but should reduce with wear. However, I doubt I'd be hammering them to the degree these boys have been in that Evo, so they could be an option.

Cracking set of wheels and certainly look well on the car. Got to be the nicest dailydriver/track car there is.

Decal mock up done, ordered and they're en-route. The blue doesn't look right on here, but it will be the same as the VW racing blue.

Sorry, been in France for 3 weeks so nothing new has happened really.

Decals are with me today hopefully, centre caps and spigots later in the week. Tyres I haven't decided on yet, so I may not have them built up for a few weeks yet.

    Bit of an update.

Rubber is on, picked up some used track tyres for an offer I couldn't refuse and will ruin those for a couple of outings.

Leaving the decals for now as I don't want the tyre monkeys making a mess of them, so will apply when I pick up some DZ03Gs next year (when they get some decent sizes in the UK)

I'll try getting them on the car for a better idea this weekend, but for now

    ...
