I've got a spare trim (removes from the rear when you take the grille off) and I sprayed it neon yellow. Dead easy job.

Gold, particularly this stuff reflects radiant heat (up to 95%), thus stopping the pipe heating up and therefore warming the air. Needs a bigger intercooler to get the full benefits, but I'm making slow progress.

Yes Danza! This is going in the right direction!

The Schroth looks a good quality piece of kit, worth the monies?

You should notice a difference with the weight loss

    Still not 820kg though....

Absolutely, its really well made and a very good fit. took 5 minutes to fit the anchor points - these Germans know their stuff.

Rear seats and spare wheel are 60-ish kilos if I remember rightly, I have weighed them in the past. Not much difference on a lard ass MKV, but it all counts!!

Could do with a couple o' buckets, seeing as the front seats come out in a matter of minutes and weigh a tonne!!... hmmm Confused

Question for all you rim whores out there...

What's 18x8, magnesium and weighs in at 7.6kilos a corner?

    .

    .

    .

OZ Motorsport tarmac wheels, obviously. Need a good refurb, but they're sound and straight, so they're going to end up like the last pic.

I would leave them as is. Decals are a bit tacky/look at me imho

Cars are for driving, not detailing !!

They're going to have decals, these are just track wheels so will keep the motorsport theme. I can always peel them off if I don't like them I guess.
