Update:
Had a 3" Milltek downpipe and Revo Stage2 added yesterday, along with a couple of other tweaks.. the change is worth every single penny. it's a bit louder now, although docile in town and the motorway, if you give it some it howls like hell and pops & bangs on DSG changes/over run.... slaaaaag!
Spool up is near instant, it revs much quicker as a result of not being strangled by the stock DP and although it isn't a massive hike in figures, the charateristics are a quantum leap. Running 6/9/6 at the mo but will play with that at a later stage, when I know what I'm doing!!
Oh, and when type-C diverter valves go bad!! Luckily had a type-G in reserve as it went pop in the week.. look at the tear it was p***ing boost out of 
no fault codes etc in VCDS, so if you're feeling slow, have a look at yours..
